MR Modellbau may be a new name to you but they have been in operation since the early 1990’s. MR Modellbau has recently started producing resin and from what I can see white metal parts and kits in all of the popular scale. Take a look inside for the latest releases from this manufacturer.

I'm a bit confused by your intro here. MR have indeed been around for quite a while, I have bought armour items from them on and off throughout the last 15-odd years.

Well the site publisher was contact by MR Modellbau who told him they had only recently started providing items for the hobby, and it is that reason that the story is written as is.

They have opened a new webstore (or a new version of their webstore) very recently, this may account for the misunderstanding.
Darren if you need someone with a longtime knowledge of the industry to help out the Armorama news team just let me know, I'd be glad to help.
Cheers,
Christophe

Any dealers in the US who have their products ?

Apparently they were marketing themselves as 'MR Models' at some point: http://www.perthmilitarymodelling.com/reviews/48/mrmodels/mrmodels.htm
And before someone from Europe tells me that "Modellbau" means "models" in English. Yes... I know that.

And even Terry's reviews are back in 2005. Nor does Terry have any 1/35 reviews, etc. As far as I can tell doing Google searches not many International sites have covered MR Modellbau recently (last item on Missing Lynx is also from 2007). I see some German sites that do.

Hi John,
Yes apparently Wanamaker Hobbies carries them now. http://www.wanamakerguns.com/models.html
Also the owner let us know they are looking for additional shops to carry their line. So if you are an e-store hobby retailer looking to expand your offerings please feel free to contact them.
Cheers,
Jim

Hi Darren,
I build their Flying Pig Mortar but at the time it was OOP and I sourced it through Accurate Armour after much net searching. They seem to have some very interesting options for the Tamiya BT 7.
Good to have a link to their stuff.
Cheers
