will get it, but it would be nice if the Petals were made of plastic, so I can brake a few. Do not remember how many times we broke off petals while putting up the nets

We had things which looked like "flytswatters" 3/ pole top, long teardrop shape, open in the middle sort of.

This is very cool, I've tried to scratch build these before - usually gave up and converted to the other "flyswatter" style mentioned.
I always thought there were only about three of these pedals - but maybe that's because guys like Starfleet kept busting them! ha ha

No, your memory is correct. There should only be 3 petals per pole, not 4 like AFV Club is showing.

Gino, I thought something was fishy when I saw the release announcement. i remember 3 petals as well. I hated cammo nets, always hooked on everything including LBE.

Well,
This doesn't seem like too much of a problem, just use three of the spreader "pedals" vice four... Then you have a couple extra to have laying on the ground, after Joe dumped out the poles & spreaders out of their carrying bag...
Just my $0.02...
