I tried to fit the lady in the dio. It didn´t feel right, and I thought it was the paintwork on her that didn´t quite fit...until I found a substitute for her. There he was, a Hornet metal fig "Relief at the front" waiting for me in the hobby shop. Basically, a Germ soldier having a piss.
The whole dio idea changed as I saw the figure, it was no longer a drunken soldier trying to make out, but instead a brief stop for two comerades-in-arms before opening the third bottle of Moselwein and going on with their "Spritztour".
Very often I try to tell myself to believe the "gut feel" that something is not quite right. It´s always difficult to scrap an idea that was cherished for so long...
In the end, the result is going to be better after a few tough decisions!

Here he is, the pissing man!
Face was primed with Citadel Bleached Bone, washed with sepia ink and Andrea light flesh. Trying out my father´s digicam..
I can almost see it finished...

I don't care about your censorship, I've got the same figure waiting on my shelf...
So, how does it feel to paint that censored part ?
You're realy doing a great job with your figures !

I just censored it because that´s the part I scratchbuilt and it didn´t fit the frame anyway....
lol.
It felt weird, to be honest. I caught myself avoiding that spot even though I had the right color in the tip of my brush...but I laughed out loud when I saw the face finished...what a pervert this guy is! The grin in his face is more that just relief..

I saw no pictures but "red-crosses". Also tried to cut & paste the URL from the "properties", but it just doesn't work.
Please advise.

I love the humour in this dio. A perfect piece. Both figures suit the dio so well. A pleasent change from all the normal dios.
