I am very curious about this kit and want to see the final results. This tank has a very funky cold war sci fi look to it.

Allright! Well, here is the kit prepped for primer and painting. I admit the tracks (82 per run, 4 runs) intimidated me for quite a while. After sucking up my courage, I found that getting the runs made up and around the sponsons was not nearly as bad as I thought it might be. However, I did keep the sponsons and tracks loose so I could paint the tracks separately and then add them to a painted tank. It is a bit tricky with the separate drive "pod", but it is possible. Now enjoy the very mediocre photos...
What is left in the box before going at it with paint.
Loose sponsons with tracks
Turret
Ready to roll off to a 1/35 conflict near you.
The hull
Another overall view.
WHAT did you call me?
Closer view of the running gear
All that track goodness.
Now, here is where I will deviate a bit. I did not want to finish this as the museum piece looks, but more as a hypothetical of what It might have looked as a operational tank. More, with possible mods, to come.
