Hello,
I have two conversion kits in my possession. I am trying to find out what are the correct donor kits for each one. The first one is a 1/35 Peddinghaus-Schling EPHS 244 Sturmgeschutz III-G Urmodell R. Batdorf. The second kit is a 1/35 ADV/Azimut Productions SDKFZ 250/1 NEU ART (1/3/9 Versions). I have had the kits for quite some time and purchased them from a wholesaler. Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance!

Hi Dari,
I don't know about the first kit, but the ADV/Azimut Productions SDKFZ 250/1 NEU ART donor will be the DML kit, I'm sure.

Steve: I need to correct you. The Azimut SdKfz 250/1 Neu Art would be a conversion kit for the old Tamiya SdKfz 250 kit (kit 35113 or 35116)
The J Peddinghaus StuG IIIG is a conversion for a late production version. Again, the donor kit is probably the ancient Tamiya StuG IIIG kit. (For instance, a later kit, #280 is a StuGIII E kit, designed for the old Tamiya StuG IIIG too)
These are really ancient kits. You're better finding inexpensive DML kits of the same for $20-25 rather than find old dog Tamiya kits and then mate these old resin kits to them.

Wow. I didn't know Tamiya even made a 250/9

Thanks for the quick responses! Roy is correct on the Tamiya donor kit for the 250. Azimut sent me a reply to an inquiry I had made of them confirming this. I have no doubt Roy is also correct on the Stug. conversion. I have built Tamiya's Stug.III and that would've been my guess also. I won't take the "ancient" aspect to heart since I built the Stug. III when it first came out! HA!
