Does the pzH2000 share road wheels, shock absorbers, or torsion bar swing arms with either leopard 1 or leopard 2?

Yes,The chassis is based on many proven components of the Leopard 1 & 2 main battle tanks. Especially the automotive parts and suspension have many parts in common.

Yes, but are the road wheels and the torsion bar swing arms the same? I like to see if I can upgrade Revell's 1/35 PzH 2000 with some better parts.

I verified Pzh2000 prototype uses Leopard 1 road wheels, but production vehicles use Leopard 2 road wheels.
It appears Pzh2000 was originally designed to use mostly Leopard 1 automotive components, such as road wheels, tracks, shock aborbers, torsion bars, swing arms. But during pre-production, it was decided to replace Leopard 1 road wheels with leopard 2 road wheels.
Can anyone point me to any photos where a production has one or more road wheel removed, and the torsion bat swing arm and shock absorber normally hidden behind the road wheel is visible?

Hi Chuck,
believe me, photos with a roadwheel removed are very hard to get. It might be possible at a Day of Open House show when the vehicle is partly dissassembled. but with only 4 PzH 2000
Bn`s in Germany, even a such show will become very rare. I saw the gun twice this year but was only allowed to open up the sideskirts. And a technical documentation like on the Spähpanzer Luchs is not on the horizon.
