Howdy Y'all
I finished this kit today for the Armored Car Campaign. I wasn't totally satisfied, especially with the groundwork. I may go back later and lighten the ground with a thinned "buff" color acrylic paint. I tried some Vellejo filters but I'm not too crazy about them.

All feedback is welcome.
Thanks,
Don "Lakota"

My photos aren't exactly coming out as planned.

I'll post a few more photos when I find out what I've put up and what I still have left.

Forgive me if I repost the same image more than once.
Take care,

Don, in my view the groundwork is more than fine as it is - you have a good variance of colours on it, not too uniform, and it realistically looks a little damp, which makes me think perhaps there should be a bit of that gritty stuff stuck to the tyres? Also, I wonder if the vehicle could do with a little bit of shading around some of the joins / crevices on the surface - at the moment it looks a bit pale, for example around the shovel handle where it sits on the surface - might that be better darkened down, along with elsewhere, to give a little bit of depth?

Howdy
Thanks Mathew, I agree with the shadowing in the crevices and around the tools. Maybe I can accomplish it with some dark wash. I wasn't going for the damp ground look. I wanted more of a hard, dry, dusty ground to match all the dust on the vehicle. I over did the dust effects, it was the first time I used the stuff.
Thanks for the input, I appreciate the advice and critique.
