Coming in the new year from Dragon Models is another Mid Tiger in 1/35 scale, this time with Zimmerit.

I love these kits with the molded on zimmerit. It saves a lot of time and effort. I've tried Aber zimm. and the hot knife technique and had success with both, but the DS styrene track and molded on zimmerit make we want this kit bad!

Yes, it's another Tiger, but their CH Mid Tiger sold out before some of us could get one on pre-order. This is more accurate than their previous kits (thanks to our own David Byrden), and saves having to make corrections or buy AM ones.

This kit is already on my workbench next to the Otto Carius and tbh they are the same just different decals

Hi Shawn ... good to hear it's already showing up .. The kits are close but if you look closely the Mantlet and the tracks are supposed to be different ... The rest as you say is the same ..(well decals not the same )

Can't wait to get my hands on it..

I'm not a fan of Dragon's moded Zimmerit, but this Looks like they've improved the shape of Zimmerit. I'll get one

Shaun, it has different tracks and a different mantlet. If not for the tracks, we might have put Carius' tank as a decal option within the Mid kit.
