Been working on my Airfix Lightning again, and I finally attached the photo-etched parts that come with the Flightpath superdetail kit. After polishing the clear plastic, I submerged the canopy in some Future (which I smuggled from the US
last summer). After it dried completely, I glued the parts (3 thusfar) and burnished them with one of those wax-carvers. When I was satisfied with the fit, I sanded the parts and finally polished them. In my Christmas holiday (woehoe, 2 weeks off!) I will fit the inner parts, polish the plastic again and dip it in future.
