Does look a nice little build, I was thinking of getting one of these and mounting it on top of a Skif MTLB

Thanks for this review, Brent

Can You show a photo of this real Humvee with gun? I'm curious what is it

This is ZPU-2 gun, but it's absent on the market in 1/35th scale Two of my colleagues from Polish Humvee forum have built this Moroccan Humvee with old Skif's ZU-23-2:

Gino, thanks for jumping in and posting the photo. That is the picture I was thinking of plus a model that had been submitted to my humvee site.

Hello Kuba!! Thanks for chimming in here also. Kamil83's HMMWV and the picture that Gino put up are my inspiration. I had not recognized the caliber difference but you are correct...The mounted weapons in the actual photo are not ZU-23-2. I will probably still build it anyway.

Talk to you soon.

The caliber of ZU-23-2 is 23mm, ZPU-2 is 14,5 mm. But these guns are not so different, so I'm going - using this wonderful Trumpeter's ZU-23-2 - to build such Yemen army M1097A2:

Some great versions of Humvees showing up here... either of the two Meng Technical guns would be suitable for some of those versions either. The Yemeni one looks like it's single barrel.

The Trumpeter kit looks lovely and detailed though and will look good on a Humvee though. Will be watching with interest

Yes Sean, my first thought was ZPU-1 (sigle barrel). The second barrel is not visible (or absent). But the gun craddle looks like in ZPU-2. So I'm really conused And yes - both Meng guns (ZPU-1 and ZU-23-2) could be used, even if finished model will be a little bit sci-fi

Sci-fi is a bit harsh Kuba Maybe just a little bit of artistic license!

It seems someone somewhere has tried mounting every possible weapon on every possible platform.....I'm sure Frenchy will come along with even more evidence!
