Hi everybody,
Long time ago I used to spend all my saving money to buy small stuff like tanks, jets and helicopters from Italery , Revell, Zvezda ... I tried hard to glue them up and leave them unpainted, and of course still feel extremely happy. But all end up in 2001 when I entered the University.
I just came back to scale-model from last August, seriously .Considering myself as beginner I started from small figures of Tamyia, Dragon, and then move on to Alpine. I spent a lot of money and time to archive this. I hope you will enjoy; your critics are most welcome:

With my best regards,
P/S; Sorry for my funny English

If that is you at the beginning of your second career in figure painting, I want to see you again in a couple of years.
You will be worldclass then!

Thank you Claude for a great encouragement. I'm still struggling with acrylic painting since it is really hard to make smooth transition.

The tan jacket looks particularly well done. Your standard of painting is a far higher than my own. Good work.

Thanks, actually I'm kind of color-blind. I've got 6 deferent shades of sand and 7 ones from AV. Funny eh

Superb painting on those figures Sir!
If acrylics give you troubles....use enamels, blending is easy then!
Do keep us posted on your further activities, please!!!!
We don't want to miss any of your great work!!
Cheers

Well I must agree with all the rest of the guys here so far. Very well done. I have been doing dio's and vign. for years and still have problems with painting my figures as well as your's came out. The colors have blended in good and your attention with the painting of the equipment has enhanced your figures well. Keep up the good work my friend. As Claude said, I'd like to see your stuff in a year or two, going to put a lot of us to shame with such good work. And there is nothing wrong with your English, we understand it very well, better than the kids here in the U.S. that talk on the streets; can't understand them at all. LOL And welcome to The great site of Armorama where you will find a wealth of info and help too. Bob D.

Builds like this make me seriously doubt my modelling abilities. This level of craftsmanship is something I hoped to attain through years of bench time. You may want to consider signing up for the "Boots on the Ground" campaign.

Dear all, thank you very much for your kind comments and warm welcome. In fact, being color blind requires me to work even harder to get the colors right. Frankly the above two figures are the 12th and 13rd I've painted, and there were countless times I had to repaint them, especially their faces. I hope that by joining this playground you guys will help me improve my skill. I'm trying to finish my diorama soon.
Once again, my sincere greeting!

Painting is superb ...am I repeating myself??!? ....and the addition of the cycle is fine!!
Still, I feel something is wrong/missing in composition....
base too large..??...or a vertical element (road sign, bush, fence, o.s.) on one side to wreck the "unnatural" balance of the pic...
...just my impression maybe..!??
Well done in the meantime!!!!
Seriously: congratulations Sir!!! I wish my painting skills were that good!!!!
Cheers
