HI, which model of the ZU-23-2 would you consider the best? I mean the company that made it of course. I'd like to put it on top of a couple of East Armor, like this one Olivier Carneau did:

Obviously I won't make it on the M-113, but I have two boxes of the Lee's Leopard2 Kampfpanzer, if you want to know what cheap is, open a box of any of these company models IMHO of course. I have 1 Challenger MBT + 1 Challenger 1, I did not research yet the difference and finally a T-54 & one T-34/76 but that would defeat my idea.

You'll ask: Why Marc and I'll answer Because I can and I am bored to death here. When you're disabled, you need something to clear the morbid ideas of a rope and a closet, trust me on that.

I'm no mental health clinician, but I am pretty sure there are better alternatives to depression than the ZSU-23/2. Go get help.

I am my friend, I just need something to do here and I thought this build would make me work and simply make me think of something else. It's as simple as that.

==============================================================

NOw please, I am sorry to have posted that. Can you plz act as if it's not there. I'm not about to do it, it's just that I am really stuck/disabled home and need ideas to build some cheap models in my stash.

I am being treated by my family doc and a specialist so all is well but I cannot really express how I am. Specially when English isn't your born language.

;)

Eastern Express markets a ZU-23 and Meng has one in their "Pickup w/ZU-23" kit. Trumpeter has announced one and rumors are the Trumpeter one will be better than the Meng one. Stay away from the Eastern Express one. I believe there is a resin one out there and I remeber it to be quite decent but expensive and hard to find. If you need one now get the Meng one,

If you can wait, then the Trumpeter one may be the way to go. Here is a thread with some sprue shots.

I think it's a good Idea to wait for the Trumpeter. I have a couple of their models here and it's quality. Meng too but we don't really see the ZU.

Thank you Roy

Sprue Brothers has been selling them too. That is where I got mine. They might still be out of stock.

The resin one is by Storm Miniatures - it's a great little kit, but it seems that their website is no longer available.

Here is a link to thread about it. But now that the Trumpeter version is out I think it's probably just what you need!

Hi Guys;

Yea the Armo kit has been around for many years, and for a all resin kit was not all that bad. I have seen it on e-bay and the last one was from either Singapore or the Phillppines. I will wait for one in Injection Molded Plastic. On Topic; The ZU-23x2 is even a Good subject for a Diorama sitting all by it self.

CHEERS; MIKE.
