Does anyone know if one of the major kit makers plans to offer the German light infantry gun (7.5 cm Le IG 18) in 1/35 anytime soon?
I'm aware that Tamiya offered an all metal kit at one time and, have built the old ERTL / ESCI kit.
This infantry support gun was a mainstay of the Wehrmacht in the early years of WWII and, I've seen some photos of them used in Normandy in '44.

I have a resin and PE one, I think from an Italian company, from about 25 - 30 yrs ago. Very well done. Puts the other two to shame. I agree it should be redone in styrene and PE. It's sort of an "unsung hero" of WWll, seeing action from the opening days of the war through to the end, on all fronts and in all weather.
