I really hope in a german version!!A stinger armed vehicle also would be great.
AFAIK Def Model wheels (2 types) will hit the market in March...I bet that Voyager also is doing something on that(slat armor?)
We'll see....

Trumpeter definitly will release the Bundeswehr Fennek. I hope for a good Granatmaschinenwaffe. Rumors say that the German Joint Fire Support version is also planned. It showed up the Trumpeter/HobbyBoss release versions of a single vehicle time after time. First the CV9040 C in 2011, the the CV9040 B in 2012 and now the CV9035 in 2014. Hopefully we see more versions of both CV90 and Fennek.

Hi Guys,

Happened to stmble upon this thread. While the Dutch Leo2 decal set is OOP, the tactical portion of it is still available. It is as comprehensive as possible to cover most Dutch tactical signs I could find. You can find it /request for it at dealers who carry EFD range. Or get them directly from echelonfd.com.

Hi Ciro,

not sure about a book about the Dutch Fenneks, but the publisher
of Tankograd is a friend of mine. It of course depends if he finds an author willing to cover the theme.
I second the idea of an CV 90 AMOS. I been on the real track about 10 years ago, eversince I been fascinated by this vehicle.
Unfortunatly, there is not much material on the net, especially a good drawing.

Some Fennek background info:
The original plan was to develop a 4 wheel drive armoured vehicle, which would have high road and off road capabilities and speed for support, recon and FAC/ArtObs roles. It should have low noise and low profile.
The crew is 3, commander(left position), driver (mid position), observer/gunner(right position).
It has short range AT, is able to act 5 days autonomic, has GPS (mil version), tyre pressure control, day view periscope with thermal imaging camera, CBRN protected, all, except the Stinger version, have a remote controlled .50 MG.

The main project was started by Kraus-Maffei Wegmann GmbH&co.KG in Kassel, Ger.
The Netherlands are leading nation in the project.
The main body comes from Bayards, Nieuw Lekkerland, NL
DDVS, Helmond, NL, is responsible for the basic and the drive
RDE, Bremen, Ger., supplies all obeservation parts
Aselan, Turkey, supplies the Stinger
Deutz, Cologne, Ger., the engine
Renk, Augsburg, Ger., the gear box
