Nice choice of something different, I want one preferably from
Zvezda. Not only because it'll be cheaper, but I don't need kits of 1/35 scale tanks with near to a 1000 parts count just for the sake of it.

Here's something I have never seen before, why are Zvezda and Meng both using exactly the same pictures for their box art?

Could this be the same kit just run under two names, like Dragon used to do years ago?

I understand things get a little emotional with the topic of Russia, Zvezda, and availability. I went through and edited the thread to clean up the off topic stuff. If you want to talk the politics of Crimea, feel free to go to the correct thread. But...compared to other sites you guys kept it low key, so thanks for that.

Now, honestly, since Trumpeter has made noises of producing a kit, I think Zvezda will let this one slide away. I may be wrong though, hard to read their minds at the moment.

And there has been ZERO news about this since the announcement.

Actually they show a resin model in progress in their facebook page but they never confirmed that they will really release it and no sign of it in the catalogue 2014-2015!

Yeah but they have also released kits that were never in the catalogue to begin with if I'm not mistaken

The thing with trumpeter is that you'll see a leaked photo of an upcoming release and it takes anywhere from 90 days to several years for it to show up on the market. I'm pretty sure that we will see this one day, it I wouldn't expect it till late this year.

In My Humble opinion....

this last holiday offerings were a disaster....

(( I've usually saved up for Sqad...'s 50% off over $500 sale... but this year No-one on this side of the globe had the newest and best to offer ))

Its taken me 6 mo to get only a few the kits I wanted...and STILL I can't get any upgrade kits for them...(on this side of the globe).

And because I couldn't get the kits I really wanted ...I also didn't buy a single EXTRA kit ...(because it used to be fun fulfilling my desires getting cool models with large expectations of making them all). - - IT wasn't this year at all.

So If Again.....I'm waiting for Fall to have the companies Finally release what I want...and then not have easy access to those kits for Another 6 Mo...

..my disposable income will be spent on other spontaneous fulfillments.....A larger BluRay collection maybe?

I find EBay to be my friend, for kits not locally released. I picked up a couple of stugs, before they hit the market. After a few months, I realized that they would not be distributed in the US. I have also noted that EBay has several kits listed, before they hit the domestic market. Point being: I don't care who releases them or where they release them. I'm sure I can source one.
