It is out already on eBay. Mine is on its way (albeit on the slowest ship in the Pacific, apparently)

Just a note to anyone else building this kit - there shouldn't be the gap between the front upper and lower hull armour; it was a one piece module:
Looks like a great kit! Waiting for mine to see if it can be backdated to a 'regular' C2.
Cheers,
Jim

Dirk
Well done with the builds of this new and great looking kit.
Here are some points to consider :
C2 MEXAS with full turret armour with decals from 1st troop, the tank registration numbers were :
78-85083 Troop Warrant Officers , mine roller adapter
78-85128 Dozer C2 MEXAS
78-85131 Mine Plough C2 MEXAS
78-85162 Troop Officers
The 1st troop desert "Tick" decal on the turret side armour was fitted late Apr 2007.
1st troop did not mount the left side bore brush tube or the communications spool mount.
Reminder for anyone who builds the great looking kit out of the box, the kit dose not represent a C2 MEXAS that saw extensive combat service in Afghanistan. There were a list of modifications completed before they entered the arduous continuous combat operations in January / February 2007 that lasted until July 2011.
This is all covered in the C2 MEXAS DVD reference set.

Nice looking duo of Leopards!
Since the kit does depict B Squadron, LdSH(RC) upon initial deployment the registration numbers included in the kit are for:
78-85083: 1st Troop 21A, mine roller- name Buffalo
78-85132: 2nd Troop 22A, dozer blade- name Buttercup
78-85071: 3rd Troop 23C, mine plow- name Bering
78-85108: 3rd Troop, 23B, dozer blade- name Baltic
If you look at the decals you'll see that they provide an assortment of decals that can or can't be used depending on how the kit is or isn't modified. 21A has the proper registration numbers and name combo on the decal set.
For an accurate OOB build the applicable decals would be registration numbers for the hull and barrel, the chevrons, the Maple Leaf, and the tactical marking.
Markings such as the Troop barrel rings, the Troop logos, the bumper sticker, and palm tree weren't added until the first set of modifications were made...fender extensions and armoured cover for the jammer.
I think this kit will be very popular with Leopard fans...lots of potential!

If the decal sheet comes with :
78-85132: 2nd Troop 22A, dozer blade- name Buttercup
This is incorrect, as the registration should read 78-58132 as painted on the real machine and would be 22B, as 22A registration number was 78-85050. And the names were not painted on all of the C2 MEXAS thermal covers, research will have to be done to depict a certain C2 MEXAS as deployed. Call sign 22A was never a dozer Leopard, it was a stock C2 MEXAS converted to roller Leopard in march 2007.

Thanks for the follow-up...Oops...My hard working fingers made a typo in my post.
The correction...
78-85132: 2nd Troop 22B, dozer blade- name Buttercup
22A was named Briar.
The only names provided on the decal sheet are Buffalo and Bear...21A and 21C.

I hope it will help some modelers who will do it.
