New 'GunTruck' question.
Has anyone, (here Gunnie, Gunnie, Gunnie) built an Engineer Battalion's GunTruck yet?
Such as the M51 5-Ton Dump version?
Kutta's got one in his book called 'Invader II'.
Curious what kit that might be based on. For those of us ' pretenders-to-the-throne' who might want to tackle such a project (again, here Gunnie, Gunnie, Gunnie).

How about you ARMDCAV, any thought's? Anyone?
Oh! Though I've already asked this question before (there's a few new members since I last asked) Has anyone built one of the Semi based GunTruck's, like 'Roberta' or ?

I've only seen one blurry modeler's photo of an M51 Dump G/T before - and it wasn't marked up as INVADER II. Haven't seen anyone model any Tractors either...

Hmmmmmm.............if it looks like a challenge, and smells like a challenge, chances are.............
What would one use for the 'base' kit for the M51?
What would one use for the 'base' kit for the tractor version?

The Real Models M51 Dump Conversion or Tractor Conversion are designed to fit on the Italeri M92x series model kits. Naturally, you can also make the "stretched" AFV Club frame option work as well if you choose to do so. As Real Models quality swings wildly - I'd recommend actually building and finishing their conversion prior to modeling either MFG's frame to fit it - less you'll have a naked frame sitting around looking to become something else...
