Looking for some advice. I made the switch from Vallejo to AK primer a few months ago and have been generally much happier with the AK. One thing I notice with the AK which I don't recall happening with the Vallejo is a tendancy for it to bead up on the first coat, particularly if it's been a minute or two since I shook up the bottle. Subsequent passes after the first coat has dried seem to cover okay.
Anyone else experienced this, and if so what did you do about it? I've heard of people adding liquid dish soap to paint to get them to go on more smoothly, but not sure if this is a good idea for primer. Thoughts?
