Its done --- congrats! Very good job mudding up the tracks, and a solid paint job. Also the extra links and tools look good.

The only thing you might consider is a light dirt/dust airbrushing over the decals --they look a tad bright, & maybe on the mantlet also - (but this is just me).

Its very very well done as is Carl. Thanks for the pics.

You have a very nice base painting there! What the kit definitely needs is some blending. The paintjob and decals just pop out the way they shouldn´t. I´d say pastel chalks could be the way to go.
I would add some random scratches here and there. Even a pencil would do the trick. And the blackened area in the muzzle needs definitely some blending. You could just smooth the sharp black border with black pastel chalks. Maybe some dark wash on the tracks, then some metallish drybrushing to bring out the details?

You´re 90% there, it just needs the finishing touch!

I agree on the upper area being clean,I am going to give it an overall thin,light,distant AB of a dusty color to blend it all together,In person,there is some shading on the jack support block. Even a throttled down flash glares it out.I may take the tank outside for natural light pictures.

The tracks are the ones that come in the kit.They have the correct "chevrons" on them,vs.the non cheveroned ones on my Panther A also in 1/25th.
Envar,
I think the overspray of a dusty color will achieve the blending effect.And before the dusty coat can dry,I will touch it with a stick to make minor scratches.

Colors were: MM Military brown w/ a few drops of red in it.MM Dunklegelb. MM PanzerOlive.
There were no construction snags at all.everything fit in place.Care must be taken at the rear of the turret relative to the rear turret plate.It can gap.
As far as aftermarket,I added spares box screen for the air intakes.And i took a few strands of copper wire,and twisted them together to mak the track pulling cable,aft of the jack block.

All in all an interesting build.I recommend the kit,just because.

carl, you have done a great job with this beast.. i suppose it's time for me to post pics of my 1/25 T-34/85? great job!

A very nice job.

Might I suggest adding some mud to the inside -hullside- of the left front fender. From the last picture it looks like there is no mud there and there probably would be.
Also from the last pic, the insides of the right side front roadwheel looks pretty clean too.

Also, did you get paint all the way up into the MG ball area? Some of the shots look like you did, some do not.

Even with these niggling criticisms it is quite an accomplshment, finishing so quickly too!
