Hi Everybody;

I Still cant believe they ( H.B. ) did that too us,

Hobby Boss didn't "do" anything to anyone. They just offered an item for sale that some people don't want. Hardly worth getting angry [ ] about.

KL

Ditto, Kurt
They offer what is more suitable for their producing budgets, and potential buyers may or may note like it.
Just look how some people is happy with Dragon's Kpfz 70, and others are very disappointed...-not to start a new rant about Big D!-
This is not an ideal world, and manufacturers do what they think will give'em a better profit
And those who want to, will always have room for AM stuff

Those first two don't go boom, Frenchy. What good are they?

If I remember the physical differences are different muffler set up, different vents on the engine deck and potentially a different idler wheel.

The mine clearing vehicle looks pretty fierce though.

Wow, pretty incredible that a company would release such a blatant copy in this day and age. I mean, I know it happens and I know the old Trumpeter kit was a Tamiya knock-off, but that was years back. For HB to release such a blatant rip off of the Tamiya kit seems pretty shoddy, I won't waste anything on such junk.

Hi Everyone;

In regards too the Hobby Boss kit, my Statement was Not Intended too Offend H.B. ! I was only pointing out its Hi & Lows, we all know H.B. and trumpeter are in essence the same company. Overall I really like H.B's kits and I have purchased quite a few and think they are Good Value for the Money. I also think that this kit despite its make-up is A welcome Offering and gives all of us another vehicle too add too our collection.
And If I Offended Anyone,--I Offer My Apology.

CHEERS; MIKE.

Value priced? Have you seen some of Tamiya's newish kits (their M1 TUSK and T55 Enigma, specifically)? Two kits with updated molds and they charged a premium for them. This comming from a company I would normally call 'cheap and cheerful'. Trumpeter are going to want a small fortune for the AUF I'd bet.

Tamiya isn't Trumpeter or HobbyBoss...so lets not jump to conclusions without having any evidence to back it up

I'm still very interested in the AuF 1. It is a welcome addition to the spg kits.

as much I am a big fan of new kits...I do think the launch of similar/same kits by different manufactures at similar times,would compare to the game of "top trumps" scoring points on the same tank or afv's, depending on the manufacturer. wouldn't it be more competitive to launch new or different kits, us modellers would appreciate...increase the range of choice, not try and outdo the competitors...I'm not trying to be controversial ...just putting my point out there

The tensioner roller is not rubber coating, why did you paint your face black?
