Great news ... but can someone tell me why Dragon doesn't give us either a folded or open canvas roof top... seems this is an essential part to be missing in all their kits of the Sdkfz7. Does anyone make a replacement part? I got a couple in the wings .

Isn't there a Voyager resin/PE set that includes a folded top?

This will save you a little legwork getting through the VoyagerModel website. Here's their link:

They included the folding top on their latest sd.kfz. 10 kit. Hopefully they will add it here as well.

Do the sdkfz 7 kits omit any folded top? I have them in my stash but never noticed that. Pretty huge gaffe if it is omitted.

I have made two of the Trumpeter Sdkfz7s. I prefer them to the Dragon ones, although depending on which references you use there are issues with accuracy in that the length of the chassis is wrong (or not). Firstly the automotive train is better detailed, they are cheaper and they come with nicely moulded tilts, both open and closed. They look pretty much like an Sdkfz7 to me. Also the Flak versions, Sdkfz7/1 & 2 both come with trailers, something the Dragon ones all lack.
