Two models of M1025P1 GMV-S used by Polish special unit GROM in Afghanistan, 2007/2008. Both are based on Tamiya's M1025 Humvee with Eduard's ASK armor. Turret are scratchbuilded. A lot of stuff from Meng, Legend, Pro Art Model, Tamiya, Bronco etc. is added.

First of them is my friend's (makinen), second one is mine.

Thanks guys Makinen says 'thanks' too

A small bonus from me:

This book was an inspiration to build this model. "Trzynaście moich lat w JW GROM" ('My Thirteen Yeras in GROM Military Unit') are the memories of Andrzej K. Kisiel, a Polish GROM operator, who spent some time in similar GMV, like my model. And this is his photo, at the left:

At the right - memorable US sniper Chris Kyle.

Chris was killed by another US veteran during a recreational shooting event. Allegedly the veteran that shot and killed Chris Kyle at the shooting range had several disorders as a result of deployment. Chris made it a personal goal to help other veterans and unfortunately lost his life doing it. He was a great man.
