I build a resin model from Wespe, the Mercedes G 4.
I don`t know at that moment if it will the car from Hitler or other men.
The model use many changing to come more reality.
The vehicle Frame, bodywork, Suspension, 1. and 2. seat row. engine, gear and drive.
Some chnges also for the side panels for more leather like.

Bob,
it is not only fun, it was more work than I had think about.
Today I have made the seats ready and the rear Suspension saw out. The front needs also some correction.
Photos come later.

The next is mill the resin in the engine room and to make the new axles.
The fuel tank is glue to the chassis.

The suspension and rear axle box is cut out.
The starter and Generator is glue to the engine.
The wheels are cleaned and all seats are glue to the chassis.

A Little update with much of work time.
All axles are ready. The first two suspensions are glue.
The windscreen frame are corrected. The pedals and gearsticks are glue.
The holder for the sparewheels are bend.

The next update for this model.
The front suspension and rear axle holder are glue to the frame. The last four suspensions are glue together.

After some days here are the next step. The rear suspension and all axles on on the frame.
A little change to the engine and gear.

The frontaxle with steering link, rod and arms are ready.
The exhaust systeme are complete formed.
Spare wheels are milled withe the Dremel.
The back engine holder is glue.

Last week I had become the Trojca book about this car.
So I had some changes for this. Here are them:
The exhaust is changed.
Some lamps are glue to the car. A new lamp carriers made and glue. New Headlines are build.
The windscreen is cut and cockpit corrected.

The next update:
Build the inner door and window opener and glue to the model.
Exhaust complete and the front clamp with horns Notek lamp and the big front lamps fitted.
The two blinker lights, wiper engine and inner rear mirror build and glue.

After I had spayed the primer I have today at first sprayed black the body and frame.
the next will be to paint the seats and floor gray.

The body is on the chasis. The instruments are ready.
The chrome parts are painted.
The first Mercedes star is on the coolant and the second is on work.

Something new about the build.
I had to form two times the second star. The first jump away.
I glue him to the coolant.
I sprayed a second time clear paint to the car.

Other flags, wipers on the windscreen and a new box on the driverside was cut,glue and paint. ;D
