Ummm. I'm pretty sure I have two MRC ones in my stash. (1/35th)
Not sure if they are "A" models though.
The MRC/Academy kit is of a more modern OH-58D.
For an OH-58A, you can use the old 1/32 Revell Jet Ranger kit, recently reissued. With minor mods, it represents a military OH-58A well.

MRC does only the OH-58 D Kiowa Warrior. Revell had released a Bell 206 Jet Ranger a while ago in 1/32 scale. It could be modified into an OH-58 A with some scratchbuilding.
And the morale: We need some good 1/35 scale helo`s, name AH-1G
(Vietnam), AH-1 S/F (Cold War/Desert Storm), AH-64 A and D, AH-1Z, OH-58 A Kiowa. UH-72 A Lakota.
