Hello all ! This is my first post in Armorama forum. My name is Witek and I'm from Poland. This is my latest diorama. Is still in progress so I can change few things Scene shows small village in Yugoslavia. It was build of styro ,few plaster (mostly rock and road) and balsa wood. For weathering I used AK ,Ammo and Vallejo paints. Next step: tank and 3 or 4 figures. And maybe a dog I know that my english is bad ,but I'm still learning..

Hi Witek - and welcome! Thanks for sharing your work! Very nice composition, colors, and textures - looks very nice! I particularly like the stone wall showing through the plaster here and there - the barrel-tiles on the roof look good too...
Looking forward to seeing more!
Cheers

Beautiful work! Your attention to detail is excellent - the moss, the rusty hinges and the house number for starters.

I admire your work without the vehicle and figures. This is the part of our hobby that I do not apply enough time to. Very nicely done I look forward to the rest of the dio.

Hi Witek,

welcome to the forum!! And a superb starter you are presenting here!!!
I see what you mean with the roof, but you are on the right track!! You'll do just fine in future!

I must say I find the little scene quite artistic!! You don't have anything to do with art or design, do you!?!??

I'm looking forward to seeing progress on this little beauty!!

Congrats so far Sir!!

Cheers

Romain

I can only agree! This is a beautiful piece of work!

May I ask how you did the windows and the roof?

Hi Cristian !
Of course I tell You how I make a roof and windows
I have Super Top Secret Tool from Underground Factory in North Korea This is it:

I used a straws to drink ,small piece of wood with hole ,knife and 2 rubbers band. With this tool I make 2 half pipe and later I cut them into 2 cm pieces. And that is a secret

To make a windows I need a transparent box and some balsa wood. I glues them with super glue or similar.

Witek. This is a great build and will be a great framework for some sweet vehicle and figures I'm sure. I love the subtle colour variations and the details you've included. Just excellent work. Welcome to the forum. You have some great skills, and I look forward to more of your posts.

Hi Witek (Witold?)
Your scene looks great, nice colors, materials and composition!
I'm not sure if you plan to but I think to make it even better you should add in more micro-detail and smaller object that can help offset the larger structures and make the scene feel more real & in scale. Lamps, signs, drain pipes, gutter, flower boxes etc etc.

Again, really great start, looking forward to seeing it develop!
