The 2 box like items are shown as optional, I'm not sure just what they are. They look like guards for the blades when traveling ?

This finishes this section. Now to the painting and then to the track assembly and instalation
That's all for now.

Man, those blades sure do look nice ! Thanks for the nice build notes Donald, I've seen the box or frame like structures described as snow plowing attachments for the mine plow. I can provide the reference if you're interested.

Thanks for the offer, but I was just wondering about them.
I think the blades look better by themselves.

I just finished the assembly of the track, I didn't quite follow the instruction sheet. If you assemble the track sections with the guide horns connected together it seems a lot more complicated.

So far the track assembly hasn't been to bad, the only part of the instructions that I didn't follow is assembling the sections of track with the two guide horns still fastened together. This seems to me to be more complicated. This is why I separated them.
That's all for now.

I have the tracks painted and installed.
In the first Pic the track looks very silvery, that's just the lighting.I used Model Master Gunmetal Buffing Metalizer for the track with a light rub of silver pencele to bring out the high lights.

The Instructions call for 81 links, but that gives a sloppy fit. I find that 80 links fit just right.

I have removed the masking.

I don't know, maby I should have just stuck with Russian Armor Green? That was a lot of 4mm by 4mm tape pieces.

Starting the final assembly, the 2 pics. below are for installing the tow cable.

I deviated from the instructions slightly. I found out that 82 mm works better rather than the 100mm called for in the instructions.
I started by fastening the free tow cable end to the hull, then super glued an extra long length of wire from the spare parts box to the ends that were previously fitted to the tow hooks. Then routing them around the bar armor mounts to the ends mounted on the hull. I thing 82mm looks just right. 100 mm will have the cables stick out behind the tracks.
Now I have the final detailing and wear to add.
The final pics. will be coming soon. Donald

Hi Guys;

IMHO I THINK THAT IS QUITE UNFAIR TOO SAY THAT ITS BAD OR WRONG FROM OUR ESTEEMED FRIEND FROM RUSSIA.
AND TOO SAY ITS SPOILED IS WRONG !! IN MY RESEARCH OF THIS VEHICLE, I HAVE SEEN MANY TYPES OF CAMOS, USED BY THE ZAVOD, AND WHOS TOO SAY THAT ITS SPOILED WHEN YOU HAVENT EVEN SEEN THE FINISHED PRODUCT YET !!!!!!!!!!!
Keep Going Don, and build it the way that you like and Don't let STUPID STATEMENTS like this Discourage You.

I agree with Mike. Congratulations and this vehicle appears with different camouflage in each exposition. I believe that in coming years we will see the real terminator with a similar camouflage. Especially if China buy it.

Thanks Guys, I did this as a what if. I don't know if anyone actually uses it. It seems to me to be a lot of expense for bassicly a mobile flak gun with rocket launchers strapped on. Would have been more economical to put the guns on a BTR 80

WELL IT IS FINISHED. I know that there will be some of you that don't like it. To that I say " Let's see you build one and do BETTER"

Follows are 34 of the final pictures, not in any special order.
