Here are photos of my Dragon 1:35 Hornisse (Nashorn, early variant) that I just completed last month. I made extensive additions to the basic kit. Scratchbuilt items include the ammo bins, periscope frames (2), mount for scissors periscope (although I opted not to include the actual periscope), rolled-up tarp on fighting compartment floor, wooden storage bin on right trackguard, antenna, MP 40 holders and various cables running along the fighting compartment walls. Items pirated from other kits or the spares box include the mounts for the spare bogey wheels
and the spare bogeys themselves, gas mask canisters, wooden ammo crates and steel canisters (Verlinden), 8.8 cm shells (also Verlinden) and various items scattered around the fighting compartment (jerry cans, canteens, headsets, etc.). All in all, this represents approximately seven months of time and effort - hope you enjoy.

nice work Kevin! Something odd about all your fuel cans however. The jerry can's openings were offset to the right and not centered. Maybe look into that? Also you might want to stow away those loose hand grenades. They wouldn't last 1 minute up there -- either the vehicle moves or they fire a round -- and the grenades are lost on the floor. Something the Sgt would never allow. Hope this helps!

Only Roy would spot those jerry cans but for the sake of future builds he is correct. As for the grenades, I'm reminded of a quote from Tom Clancy: "The difference between fiction and reality? Fiction has to make sense." You leave those grenades alone, Kevin!

Kevin: Please just take my remarks as my personal opinion -- continue to add stowage as your artistic eye & creativity lead you to do. That's part of why I enjoy the hobby -- it's a creative outlet.

Roy-
You're right about the jerry can openings - I didn't realize this until you pointed it out. Blame it on Tamiya since it is their jerry can set that furnished the ones that I included. In the future I will reposition the openings to be more accurate!
As for the grenades lying on top of the ammo box - I wanted to portray the vehicle as if there were an imminent infantry threat from the left flank - also explains the positioning of the MP 40.
Thanks for your instructive comments. Kevin
