How's this?
Forgive me, but I'm new to this forum and am not too sure how to upload photos. Hope you can see them now.

For a moment there I thought it was an actual picture of the tank!
Very nice

I see them now, and I'm glad I came back to look, very well done.
I'd also like to know the source of the figs, they look very good as well.
Construction details on the tank itself?

Mike, the 2 standing figures are from Black Dog, but their heads are from Blast Models' IDF crew set. The driver is part of that set.

Jasper-----Great build! I thought I was actually looking at a real Merkava for a second. Well done!
Best wishes,
Ian
It is a fact that under equal conditions, large-scale battles and whole wars are won by troops which have a strong will for victory, clear goals before them, high moral standards, and devotion to the banner under which they go into battle.

Wow, incredibly realistic!
What have you used for antislip?

Thanks, Andrew and Raphael!
For the anti-slip, I used Hamster bath sand. Applied Tamiya cement onto each panel, sprinkled the sand on it, pressed it in a little, and then scrape off any excess with a knife. Tedious, as I had to do it panel by panel. I chose this method over the texture spray as I wanted to show a tank that was more worn out. If I made a Mk IV, I might go with the texture spray to show it in a more pristine condition.

Simply outstanding work!!! And using hamster bath sand is another example of how innovative this hobby can be.

Jasper pretty nice Merkava! I really like it very much and excellent photos!

Can you provide some further info concerning the colors you used and the canvas on the rear baskets? What did you use?

Is it a resin update from an AM company?

Thanks, Aristeidis!
The tank was primed with Mr Surfacer 1500, then pre-shaded with Black. The base coat was Mr Hobby Tan with 20% Black, and then post-shaded with Tan and a little white. Then it is washed with Raw Umber (oils with turp), dry-brushed with Tamiya Buff, and then lightly washed again. The grime and streaks are all various oils. Some pastel powders were also used to dust it up.
As for the canvas on the rear basket, that was made with lead foil.

Very realistic work, the tank itself looks fantastic but adding the crew make a huge boost as well.
