Im building this myself atm, i'm not bothering with the interior as im having it on the diorama base and it didnt look right going over the top with all the doors open but that is just my opinion, plus i would need to find or make a driver for it and i just dont have the spare time. Looking forward to how you do yours.

A couple of points you may want to be aware off when building the kit, the pieces above the drivers hatch are alittle akward as they use each other for support due to the fact they dont have a frame also the turret panels are the same, in my opinion they could have made these parts as single pieces making the build slightly easier but they still look good once you get them together, i would also recommend if your using the dio base redo the mud as the texture on the dio base is ok but its missing something for me.

Hi Venelin,
Nice kit from Meng, thanks for posting.
Few FT-17 tanks survived the WWI and some of them, captured by german during blitzkrieg were used in german service !
Go ahead !

In fact the French Army still have more than 2800 Renault FT tanks when the war broke out and about 1700 were later "enlisted" by the Wehrmacht...

The hull is closed, some putty will be needed here and there on the joint places.

I finished mine at the weekend and I found the alignment of the panels to be quite tricky, particularly at the front and on the top at the rear. You also need to be careful about the facings of the running gear - I got them mixed up so ended up with two outer panels on side and two inner panels on the other

I also managed to loose the springs so had to scratch my own for the suspension, sigh
The inside detail on these kits is great, just a pity there aren't any figures to go with them to be able to open it up. The other version with the cast turret and engine has superb internal detail, but it all gets hidden unless you have figures to open it up
