Great negativity, we have not even seen the details of the kit, and people are putting it down.

Glad model companies don't listen to people in the hobby, because if they did, we would not have this hobby. Constructive comments are 100% better then negative comments when no one has not even seen the actual kit.

Well I built the Accurate Armor kit a few years back so I won't need Dragons. As to not expecting a poor kit look at the Black Label track record. The do not have a high success rate. I hope we are pleasantly surprised and Emma Stone is at my door and wants my body.We can always hope.

I have to take exception to the claim of negativity. Each Black Label release has had significant to major issues (T28 dimensions and fit, M103 pretty much everything) so with a 100% mediocre at best rate its not unreasonable to expect the same on this one. Would love to be proven wrong but I suspect there will be far less people pre-ordering this than the M103 had. . .

You could say that about most kits, as a kit the M103 may be ok but as a kit of the M103 it is not. I will reserve critiscism of the COnqueror but Amusing hobby impressed me with their other releases so I think I'll look at their one first. DML's Black line has been far below "Stepping Ahead" hence the negativity.

And are either one of them plastic reproductions of the Cromwell models or Accurate Armour resin kits. If they are, then they should be fairly accurate.

We will have to wait and see, I have Cromwell models version and it was a great kit, built it many years ago.

Well, I've read the thread again, and I've seen complaints about this and that, but I can't find anybody complaining that they were "forced to build a model".

So, I have no idea why you're telling us this.

So far all Dragon has produced is a couple of small CAD (?) drawings of the tank, while Amusing Hobbies has the the kit ready to go. Maybe Dragon is just trying to hurt AH's sales with announcements. They've done it before.

Perhaps DML's announcement is to drop cold water on AH's announcement -- that's a good guess. But like others have said, AH makes a very good product at a very good price. If AH hits the shelves first, I doubt there would be many people who would hold of buying it in order to wait for a DML release.

I wonder what the price difference will be... If the AH product is less than Dragon's then there's no shadow of a doubt that the AH will out sell.

Unfortunately, the design team that Dragon has assigned to their Black Label project line has proven to be terrible at research. These kits are well into into Academy territory when it comes to unnecessary and nearly unfixable errors. So, regardless of how attractive the subject appears, I'll wait to see the reviews before I open my wallet.

Really?... Not a bad model? Where you cannot even put the turret on the hull without extra effort? And it is not a bad model of what? Certainly not of M103A1...

A review sample from DML perhaps?... The Black Label kits are simplified, poorly researched and WAY overpriced, while Amusing kits are much more reasonably priced and their quality so far exceeds that of Black Label kits. Yet you blindly declare that you will get the Dragon kit... I would understand it if the Black Label kit was the only choice in plastic, as in case of M103, Kpz70 or M6A1, but in this case?... It is even more surprising than our negativity towards it. A review sample seems to be the only reasonable explanation.

So far all the AH kits are significantly cheaper than the Black Label kits.
