Hi
Some update of the figures. The Dodge are ready to weathering and the figures only need some paint of details, boots, face....

Hola Alvaro,
Your Beep looks great already! I like the dark OD a lot!!!
And these photos show you where the tiny flaws on the figures are....seam lines on the neck area or left arm or dirt specks caught under the colour coat!
Easy to correct, no problem!!
Eager to see progress on these!!!!
Well done so far!!!!
Cheers
Romain

Hallo Romain
Thank you for yours comments, I will check them with a magnifier glass.
The Beep color its Testors Olive Drab, still without any filter or wash, just with flat Testors varnish.
The figures colors are Vallejo OD primer, overall. Tamiya OD for the helmets, and German Grey for the german one.
Add Mig white primer to change the jacket color, and some Tamiya Buff for the other.
Regards from the south

Hi Alvaro,
you don't need a magnifying glass!! The photos are big enough! Even I can see the details...and I'm half blind!!!
You'll do just fine!!
Cheers

Hi Alvaro,
I was thinking of this build just yesterday ... uncanny!
It's looking great. Glad to see you're moving forward with this piece.

Triple uncanny as I was also.
I am wondering about the guy with the grease gun though. For such a relaxed scene he has his weapon at a pretty alert position I think?

Maybe a new recruit, nervous, gripping his weapon real tight? He got lucky on his first mission and scored a "Luger". Could also explain why he doesnt know what a real luger looks like (which obviously the really relaxed veteran does)

Hi, yes I try to show the contrast between the Rockie guy with his trophy and the veteran ranger. The last knows about the difference and that all the panzers aren't Tigers!

Hi Joe
This insignia comes in the decals in this position. I think and assume that are "correct" for the rangers.
The decals are the Alliance Model Works, US insignia. Here a link to them
http://www.google.com.uy/imgres?imgurl=http://militarymodels.co.nz/wp-content/uploads/LW35065_2.jpg&imgrefurl=http://militarymodels.co.nz/2011/07/13/new-from-alliance-model-works-wwii-u-s-army-insignia-set/&h=849&w=600&tbnid=6gPh1HLiEjVqAM:&docid=w48nhNHcS21_uM&ei=CDPNVYHnHonWeeqxlOAJ&tbm=isch&ved=0CCAQMygFMAVqFQoTCIGL0r-lp8cCFQlrHgod6hgFnA
Anyway its easy to fix them if are wrong.
Or maybe the sgt, like it!
Regards
Alvaro

I've seen 3/4 tonners with a fabric or rubber sleeve covering the tailgate retaining chain. Maybe to keep the chain from jingling around and making noise, or to keep them from chipping the paint job. It can easily be simulated with a small piece of tape.
Or shrink tubing.

The upside down chevrons look like British ranks.
I don't think the US Army has used an upside down chevron since after the Civil War.
