Hello folks,

I want to share now my latest finished build, a Leopard 1V of the Chilean Army.

This one was built usng the Leoard 1A2 from Italeri, adding the Perfect Scale turret and PZB 200 low light TV system, PE grill from Voyager, mand a whole lot of scratchbuilding (storage boxes, rear fenders, antenna bases, and so on....).

I added some bags in resin from Legend and some camo net made of gauze. Painted with Tamiya acrylics, weathering with a range of Ammo of Mig products.

Hope you like it and comments most welcomed

Nice job, Klaus. That's an interesting subject. I like the cammo pattern and the weathering you did.

Nice project!

Shouldn't the tracks be of the chevron style?

Cheers,

Thanks for ypur comments!

Christophe, the answer regarding the tracks is no. The tanks arrived with the chevron style tracks but at the time the tanks were painted in this camo were alredy changed with square track pads. I built my model using a photo from a period between 2006-2010. Nevertheless, some vehicles using old style tracks can be seen sometimes in the ones in service in southern Chile, still painted with in gelboliv or dark green.

Cheers
