Hope all had a good day enjoying the kiddies having a good day!
Here is our 1/1 scale Halloween dio
Kids had a good time and we emptied the candy bowl on the left about 4 times.

Sadly, there were not as many kids this year as in years' past. The demographic of our street has changed and the kids have all grown up and moved on.
We have more kids now that rode in from other areas with their parents. Nothing wrong with that as far as I am concerned,it's just a lot different now. My girlfriend sat out next to the table. She drank wine and I controlled the Springer Spanial!
Nice night.

Cool! You can definitely recognize that there is a scale modeller in the house!

"You didn't tell me you were gonna kill it!"
Now that's some fine craftsmanship. We just got one pumpkin with a black widow carved into it, but this is a whole new level of ghoulish masterwork. Just occurs to me this is my first forum post in a little while. Weird, as I'm scrolling through here every day

Do Americans not have Halloween on the 31st October the same as the UK?

We do Darren. Jerry was just slow on posting.
Nice carving, Jerry.
Oddly we didn't get any kids, maybe because of the rain?

Yep,it was on the 31st and for once the trick or treat day was actually on the 31st!! The stars were all in alignment for once.
I can only take credit for the pumpkin on the right with the wink. The other ones were done by the daughter and her friend from Kenya. He did the big one in the middle and was tickled pink as he had never carved a pumpkin or celebrated the All Hallows' Day before.

Tony is a real champ...even if he overstretches the necks of his fígures occasionally
What an odd conversion!!??!!
The pumpkins in that patch....probably no longer good for Halloween! A soup maybe..!!!
Cheers

That is a pretty wild pumpkin patch all right. Very cool off the wall conversion as well. You south'ron boys seem to be cornering the talent market down thar.

I must confess, I forgot to buy candy in time for the kids this year. Embarrassed, I made a solemn promise to the four-or-five who showed-up , that I would do better next year.

We had lots of fun walking our block this year, as it was the first year our four year old girl really wanted to be involved. A month ago she said it was too scary, but about a week ago she told mommy she wanted to go out so they bought a St. Bernard suit. Daddy asked if he could dress up too, and my girl asked if I had a costume?
I put on an old pair of fatigues and my dad's original jump helmet from the fifties, and away we went. She had a blast even though her tummy hurt a bit, not from too much candy, but because she was too excited to eat before going out!!
Now she is excited for the next one coming....Christmas!
She even got to see Santa Claus, who lives right across the street. Another story for another day.
We had a great time.
