Guys,
I'm having problems viewing pictures in some of the forum posts, I just get a blank space, not even the red cross of death or the black box. I'm particularly upset by not being able to view Claude's pictures of the completed Clervaux! Any suggestions?

Steve all of the images display for me and so I believe the issue may be your end unless you have heard anyone else complain of the same issue.
Sorry

Hi Steve
Tried both your links and I can see pictures, no gaps as you describe.
Viewing on a Windows PC running Windows 7 using Firefox release 33.1 as my browser.

Hi guys,
I wondered if the issue might be at my end, as I can see photos in some posts without any problem. I am also running a laptop with Windows 7, but have Google as the default browser, and Norton AV. Is this the problem? Is it that the photos I can't see are on Photobucket or something?
I wanted to stick with a desktop as that is what I was used to, but SWMBO insisted the laptop was better. Now the screen jerks about all over the place when I am trying to post, and randomly throws me out of the site in the middle of typing.

Steve the issue may be the type of Jpeg used and your machine not having the software to view them, I know I have had issues with some of the latest Jpeg formats until updates came through from windows.

The problem may be with Google Chrome as your browser.
I have no trouble viewing the photos in that thread using Windows 7 with IE7 or Google browsers. However, when using Google Chrome, my computer wanted to add an html extension on the photo URLs. This worked, but you may have something set on your computer that prevents this from being done.
Try using Internet Explorer (IE) (or Firefox) as an experiment and see if changing browsers makes a difference. If you can view the photos, then you'll know where the problem lies and can seek a solution.

Thanks guys,
I receive frequent updates from Microsoft, maybe the issue will resolve itself in time.

It has finally resolved itself! I can now see the pictures! Must have been a (belated ) update from MS.
