Just yesterday, I was thinking: Somebody should do a dio with lots of troops on top of a tank — prayer answered! Very impressive work — can't wait to see more!

Hi Pawel,
it's getting more and more impressive!!
Nevertheless, there are 2 arms that bother me a little so far. I've marked them in this picture:
The "front man's" right arm is at an odd angle and a tad too long when compared to the left arm, and the background's guy right arm (holding the Panzerfaust) is a little odd around the elbow (apart from his huge hand).
Grand show Sir!!! Ambitious project indeed!!
Cheers

Impressive! Looks like a few different kinds of putty used. Any specific mix or brand you recommend?

Romain, you are right! The "first guy", barely in the photo it is visible that is something wrong with proportion of his arm. I will cut it off and make a new one. Definitely!
Conor I use green stuff, magic sculp (grey one) and a mix of them. They have different attributes. With green stuff you can make very precise elements (it's resembles rubber a little) and very thin (fraction of milimeter thick, for example collars or strips). With magic sculp you are able to shape a big forms.

Thanks a lot Pawel,
you've put so much work, time, money and dedication into this spectacular project already that I simply want to help avoiding anything that could possible ruin this impressive scene in the make!!
Good luck with it!! And take loads of "cheap" photos and look at them carefully. There is nothing like it to discover flaws!!!
Cheers m8!

I would like to have this kind of building in a corner of the scene. This is a quick sketch I have made - but everything can be changed now - it depends on vehilce's position. Any ideas?

I wish I could do " quick sketches" like that! This is an awesome build Pawel.... I am looking forward to see it all progressing. Well done so far.

Nice group of mixed 'end of the war' warriors!
About your building: I guess it depends where you intend to, geographically, place them. The use of so called Fachwerk, natural stone and bricks do restrict it.
Very interested in your next steps! Thanks for sharing.

Hello!
I wanted to be in Belgium during last offensive.
In meantime I changed my mind about how the house should look like. Now I have something like this:
Bricks are from Juwela company.

I didn't want to throw oil on the fire actually, but Jerry is right. That looks rather unfamiliar for the Ardennes, even around Eupen-Malmédy!
Such elaborate Fachwerk-brick constructions are an outward sign of a certain wealth...and the Ardennes were (and still are) a rather poor region (relatively speaking)!
Sorry to bring the bad news!
I can only advise all modellers to comb through the web for appropriate photos....or ask Claude (sorry Claude!) for info!
Cheers
Romain
