This Israeli APC is the new subject that I am going to realize. The kit is available commercially from Meng.I realize the version with the commander octagonal cupola L.I.C. (Low Intensity Conflict) version and the particular T shape antenna. This is thanks to the help of the Desert Eagle Publishing monograph .

Really well done Gigi!
For a better and more accurate result i suggest you Eduard's PE rear basket set.

Hi Luigi,
why couldn't you wait for Meng's late Achzarit? There's the LIC cupola and the T shaped antenna included - AND the full interior + western suspension.
I'm very interested to see your progress, don't forget the anti slip coating
Michael

Hi Michael thanks for the comment. At this point of mounting I already finished the T shape antenna and the octagonal LIC cupola is almost finished at 95% I must add only the bolts on armored glass. The anti-slip coat I think I will not do.

The new progress in the work of the IDF Achzarit concerned the construction of the smoke grenade launchers covers obtained with A+B putty.I also added the power cables made with tin wire.

Sorry, but the smoke dischargers were wrong! The right one is 180 degrees rotated and not screwed to the upper side of the holder as on the left side. Here (left) the lower part of the holder has to cut off, because it is no need for this part of the bracket. Therefore the right one has no screws on the upper side, only two holes.

Yes Michael is true I forgot to correct these errors but this for me is a hobby and certainly do not pretend to create perfect models.I just try to match a good assembly and a good painting.
Many thanks for this your clarification I will try to fix the right part by removing the two bolts in the upper part and make the two hole and the left side now I can not correct it.
Cheers Luigi

I made the towing cable with copper wire twisted using the drill. At one end I fixed with Scotch tape six copper wires to a piece of metal tube 25mm diameter and the other end a metal rod 10mm diameter all for a length of about 80 cm.I blocked the larger cylinder in a grip and the rod tight on the spindle of the drill and by turning at low speed I twisted the cable.Later I built the various supports for locking the cables on the vehicle.

Hi, the Achzarit is an APC, based on T55 Tank. Converted from a Battle Tank to a heavy armoured personell carrier. Hope that helps.

Ahh. So I suppose there is a door/ramp at the rear similar to an M113 or Bradley. Thanks
