Hi!

This is my work with Sd,kfz 263 (DAK) from AFV Club for now. Assembly is good, though the suspension is tricky and need attention. Also many fragile parts like the aerials, basic interior, but overall construction is easy.

My intention here is to try the new washable paints from AMMO for Sand and maybe Dust, the basic color is AK Dunkelgrau with some modulation.

Cheers!

Very nice build and a start to the paint job.. I'll be interested to see how these new paints work out ..A DAK paint job will be a good test ..

Thanks!
Some other parts need to be installed and next-varnish and decals, before the camo.

Decals are of not very good quality, the carrier film is rather thick IMHO. Crosses are sprayed with templates. I hope, after drying of the MicroSol, there will be no problems with the decals .

Thanks!
I always prefer templates over decals, but I don't have such for other than the crosses
When all dries, I will apply a satin varnish and proceed with the washable paint.

Here we go , sorry for the lightning, but weather is cloudy here

The color looks a bit light, but after filters and weathering it will darken.

I rub off more of the paint here and there, mainly to see if will rub, when dried. Well, it does, but harder and with cotton swab, moistened with water or stiff brush. When I'm satisfied with the result, will varnish with satin coat.

:D You're right, those aerials are tricky not to be broken accidently
