Nice builds everyone.
Here is my German s.F.H 18 Field Howitzer complete. Tamiya acrylics with AK dark washes, and a light dusting of diluted Tamiya Buff, with some pigments at the end.

I’d like to join this campaign with the AFV club le FH 18. I have a couple of Dragon Afrika Korps artillery men in great coats enjoying a canteen of coffee so might combine them to make a little diorama. Can’t begin this project before July though.

BTW, Jon, I like your sFH 18 very much. I hope mine turns out looking as good.

Here is the before work shot…

Cheers

Just about done. Add a thing or two is it. No decals or weathering yet...need to figure out it's placing.

Hello all, just a simple question, the campaign is already start since March 1st, 2015. Am I still allowed to join? I think a set of WWII German troop figures with PaK 35/36 or a set of WWII British Army infantry figures with their 105 mm AT-gun will be my choice. Thank you all

Warm regards

Calling it done. Because there is more than just the howitzer and limber, I need additional decals...so, until I get more I won't be putting any on. Kinda the same with weathering...the base design is in my head, but not down yet.

Joining in on this with Stalin's Hammer.

Here's some of what I've completed so far, the carriage.

The gun.

So far it's been easy, though there are some fit issues. Quite a bit of flash and I'm gonna be doing some filling and sanding all over the place. I remember reading something about the gun being not so good, so I replaced it with a RB barrel.

Awesome builds guys. Excellent work.

Does anybody know of a manufacturer who makes the 18pdr QF guns used by the Royal Horse Artillery in WWI?

Thanks,
Kobus

Hey,

I have made a start on the AFV club leFH18. Here are a few photos up to end of step 5 (except for the optics).

My aim is to finish the build this weekend - everything but paint…

Cheers

So I finished building the AFV Club leFH18. Even managed a few servers to go with it...

I will lay some paint down in the second half of August...

Cheers

Howdy Y'all
I was wondering if someone knows what are the prime mover for 155mm Long Tom and the s.F.H. 18 artillery pieces?
Your builds look great!
Take care,

For the Long Tom the mover is the Mack NO 7 1/2 tonne truck or the M4 High Speed Tractor. The s.FH 18 would be pulled by the sdkfz.7 8-tonne half track.

I'll be in with Bronco's OQF 6pdr Anti Tank Gun Mk IV on Carriage Mk III Airborne with Crew.

I'll be doing a mini dio I think, doing them up as members of 1 Canadian Parachute Battalion either at Normandy or Operation Varsity.

Here's my contribution to this GB: a 1/72 scale M3A1 37mm AT Gun kit from S-model

The kit parts are contained in one sprue set and there are photoetch parts as well.

I've started my build last week:

And here's my progress so far:

after some major fit problems with my ICM I-5 for the Fixed landing gear campaign I wanted to take a break and build something simple. This little Pak-36 has been siting in my stash for a while so figured I'd try and build it.

Well unfortunately I'm kinda out for now. That damned kit broke on me. Both wheels broke off. I'll try to get it fixed soon but I'm filling up on school work.

Dear All,

I'm joining this great campaign team with this small baby 1:35 Dragon 75mm Pak 97/38 :

After a quick few hours nightshift build:

Dragon's instructions for this kit are very simple and clear. Anyway, for better care of details I always suggest to follow other references, as real pictures:

I'll proceed during the weekend...

Cheers

Here again, work is in progress, with primer

and basecoat:

Very easy build so far. Only the muzzle brake is really not good for 1:35 scale. Now I'll keep as it is, then we'll see.

Hope to go ahead during this week
