We don't post many large scale figures news, but these are too good to miss.
Jeff Shiu will soon release a really cool pair of Germans on Eastern Front in 1/16 scale.

Cracking figures, but 1941 is a bit early for "retreat gaiters".
"Lord Raglan wishes the cavalry to advance rapidly to the front, follow the enemy, and try to prevent the enemy carrying away the guns. Troops of Horse Artillery may accompany. French cavalry is on your left. Immediate. Airey."

The gunner has what looks like a single Runic S and 9 on his collar tab. Is this some kind of "Political Correctness", or just something I don't recognize?

I really like Jeff's figures. Very action packed. Good fit.

The MG 34 gunner. Are you sure about that? Certainly looks like S9 to me!

Just checked again. It must be the shadows you see as it looks like typical runes to me.

http://hfmodeling.kitmaker.net/forums/229616&page=1 still looks like S9 to me - if you squint and turn your head sideways.

It's the forward edge of the collar tab that is making it look like a 9. Weird shadow or angle in the photo.

Details apart...these figs are so great....I might be tempted to buy them (and others from his series), even if WW2 germany is definitely not my cup of tea!!
Must resist.....must..!!!! As the Borg usually say.."resistance is futile"!
Cheers
