Some work was done on the 4X4 Cougar. Really not easy
Comparison pics between the 2 Cougars :
The Panda's Cougar is 6mm too narrow!. Othervise the Meng's Cougar is 14mm too long.

I just finished Panda's Tunguska, I think from now any kit will appear easy with clever instructions...
But the result is good.
It was a commission or I never would have tried it after what I read.
I won't accept Panda kit nomore

Pascal very nice work.
I also started 4x4 but in model missing part C60 steering box.
Is the same or similar for 6x6 kit?
Thanks
Miloslav

Judging by the amount of putty I'm guessing that you had a large gap between the upper and lower hull Pascal? I am working on mine and it looks like it will need lots of putty there.

Hey pascal. Awesome work to say the least! but I have a question regarding both kits. Do both or either kit come with the necessary radios and interior electronics the were missing from the previous MRAP kits? Since I live in the US, I can't seem to find, except at the cost of a small fortune, the MRAP radio sets from Blast. If I didn't have to sell a kidney or scratch build them I'd really like to know.
Keep up the wonderful work. You are an inspiration.

Yes adjustment from upper and lower hull was very difficult, it need may try and sanding session to have a good fit with the inner wall. Very happy to have finish it !!!!!!

All two kits are incomplete with radio sets. The Meng's one have nothing. In the Panda's Cougar there is the boxes for the Chameleon system and the two Harris radios. The two kits have the climatisation box.
For French products, Euro is approx same as Dollar, so our products are more cheap for you!

Some new progress for the Panda's Cougar. Just receive the Def model wheels set; Crispy moulded, wheels fit perfectly on the kit's parts. A good update for the model!

Nice wheels.
It seems that there are Cougars with different wheel rims like on this pic. I've just seen Real Model has made the two types.

The difference between rim come from the 2 different type of suspension system. The first with Marmon Herrington rigid axles and the second with independant suspension (like TAK4)
So the DEF wheels can't be put on a Cougar H (most recent)

Thanks Milo, but what i call different wheels is this ISS version (Cougar H from USMC)
In your two pics, rims are different sure but very close, surely a difference from manufacturer.
Alex this is the answer at your question

I believe the differences in wheels may be connected to the different suspension systems.

I belive the differences may be connected to the different suspension systems.
Of course Rob, in the 3 first pics this is the first version with rigid axle (Marmon Herrington) and in my last pic this is the Cougar ISS with 4X4 full independent w/CTIS. suspension (the one like Ohkosh TAK4)
