So if there is anyone out there that can help without getting into trouble, great, contact us and we will look after you when the kits comes out.

J

I wish I'd seen that offer last year having been with a Mech Inf unit then an ACR... I'm out of trade now so wont be around anything interesting for the next couple of years.

Got any old contacts that could help?

I generally do not advertise new items before they are actually in production. I started this project in 2008 so it has been a few years on the go. No work at all in 2014,

I do not like to create expectations that cannot be fullfilled in a raesionable period of time. It is just the way I do it.

Having said that the T150F tracks and drive sprocket took a while to finalise (brought to you by M).

Good point about advertising requests for info on the Mouse House website. Consider it done.

Cheers

Along these general lines do you know if anyone makes the variant of the K200 KIFV that the BIHO SPAAG uses

Well it has been a while but progress is being made
the images below show: AS4 ramp, glacis, hull roof (now with engine deck and repositioned drivers hatch. Also the collage shows the new drive sprocket, idler and T150 track links.

Remaining is the turret with spotlight and commanders hatch, rear stowage bin, external fuel tank details and amyriad of small detail.

Everything has been created. Only thing left to do is the commanders hatch cover and hinges - waiting on some info for that. The dimensions of the hinges are very small so there is little room for error.

Test casting should be underway before the end of the month.

The T1150 tracks are much needed for my M113 VISMOD build. When will they be released?

Nice work so far

Look forward to seeing this when finished.

Come across the trial variant at Pucka back in 2005 and never took any photo's, same as the Bushmaster in earlier days.

They look nice, I would be interested too.

I was thinking of using those on my VISMOD when I get around to building it but I guess they are not close enough?

The kit should be available - at least an assembled test shot by the end of August at QMHE (queensland Model hobby exhubition)

The plan is to sell the tracks separately as well as we have been told most US M113s now use them.

Jason has improved the actual wheels so now the have the proper concave outer rim, These are likely to be sold separately and will be part of the new M113AS4 kit.

This is the T150F track for the M113AS4. The track is individual link.

As of today the hull and all components are ready to send for casting. Small amount of work to finish the turret commander's hatch and hinges.

An assembled model will be availble for inspection by 22 August at the QMHE model exhibition in Brisbane QLD.

After that production will commence. Other versions will be produced as time allows.

Good news John, I think I'll get one or two sets of tracks and possibly an AS4 conversion, when everything is available.

Got to start saving money and selling old stuff!

The parts have been sent for test casting two weeks ago. Test model should be availabe at the QMHE model show in Brisbane QLD 22-23 August.
I am working on the last couple of bits of the turret. the hatch hing detail is so small that 0.5mm errors are toooo big. the hatch will be openable and we should have a commander figure to put into the commanders hole in the top of the turret

The ALV has a quite different wheel spacing to the AS4 and we do not have enough info at this time.
We do plan to do "external models" of most variants over the next few years as we did on the ASLAV 25 / PC / R / F.

Of course the hard work has been done for the AS4s - suspension + glacis with wierd headlight brushguards + ramp. Other AS4 variants will require a uniquely different hull roof with other small bits.

If when you receive your AS4 and you find something is missing that should be there on the original or wrong please let us know (with supporting info) and we will correct the part.

After all we small back yard producers do actually try to make accurate models unlike many major manufacturers who often keep us in business making after market correction kits.

Have received the first cast and will be assembling the kit so that the instructions can be written over the next week or so.
Casting of production models has commenced and those on the waiting list will be contacted as soon as possible in turn.
Camouflage plan has been done
Decals for two vehicles will come with the kit and these will be done next week.

The AS4 in being cast and improvements are being made.
The first build and instructions are happening slowly.
The decals for two vehicles are being tested and are ready.
The resin supplies have dried up...........................What the Heck you say..............the major supplier of resin has run out of resin and does not expect to have it on sale again until mid December 2015. There goes the best guess of having the first AS4 kits to ineterested modellers before Christmas 2015.

Picture of kit build soon

Thanx to all the modellers who have registered their interest. Your support is very greatly apreciated.
