Perfect timing for the post,it answers a couple of questions I had.But was there silver piping on the collar?working on an old bust of Michael Wittman photos Ive seen are a little contradictory.

If I am not mistaken, Wittmann has 3-4mm silver cord around the collar and 1mm silver cord around the collar tabs.

Thought this post deserved another look as I came across the site on rank and insignia and found it very useful.
