It should be noted that I can find no record of a KV-5 captured by the Germans, thus the tank would be just theoretical.
That would be all the more surprising that AFAIK not one single KV-5 was ever completed?

I hope they come out with the 1916 38cm version of the gun like the one I saw at a museum in Vienna. I would love to build it.

Wonder if the Manstien figure is the one from Dragon's 'Conquerors of Sevestapol' set.

Right?
But that gives me an idea. I can slap a swastika on all the models I don't want anymore, and sell them on ebay for double what I payed for them.

Tank is certainly interesting, though it was never the Nazis. But why a well-fed fascist mug next to a gun? Why is he there at all necessary?

Probably there to give perspective on the size of the gun, where a full crew would be a lot of figures.

The KV-5 is a "what if" already, any markings it'd be in would be hypothetical so why not a beutepanzer if it increases sales so they can tool and produce the WWI skoda?

Yes, the gun had something like a 14-man crew IIRC.

This is the much larger 42cm Skoda morsër! It bears a superficial resemblance to the smaller 30.5cm piece.

Cyclone/ That's because the gun was used during the Battle of Sevastopol in 1942 for which Manstein took charge of command.

Greetings,
EVM is there because it was the only time on the Eastern Front that all the big German siege guns were at the same place - Sabastopol. He was in command of all the Axis forces there. Thanks and

I wish I could find more ops photos of these big guns in action. Few photos on the 'Net and most of them just repeat.
