I am working on a KG Dragon, for a small diorama in Hungary.
Here where I am, first passages with oil filters, fading (some true earth fading products, oils, AK dust and earth deposits) and pin washes. Still a lot o work to be done….
Any suggestion is welcome

I really like your color palette! Nice late war shading. This was one battlefield that you can go crazy with putting all kinds of mud and dirt on your Tiger. I saw more than a few pics of them really bogged down in the mud there. Also read about it happening a lot there.

Absolutely fantastic job on the cammo!
The red oxide base with the dark yellow and green over it's really well done. And the missing fenders makes it even more interesting to look at.
Did you use kit decals? Looks like you have weathered then a bit, though a but more wear on them might really tie things together.
Very fantastic though!
Can't wait to see the progress

Thanks to all, will continue to show the progress...
For the numbers I used Archer dry transfer, still to be faded a little bit.

Very nicely done so far!! You have a fine eye for the colors. It would be a shame to splatter up the nice detail work on those tracks with too much mud.
Even my pick-up is panzer grey.

I agree, it would be a shame to cover all that fine work with mud, but it's gotta have some.

Reality is never as we expect... looking at the pictures, you don't see much mud on these KT... unless they are completely blogged.
I will make just some "splashes", with accumulated mud on the rear and under the front hull....

As a fan of WWII German armor I really enjoy looking at your work...very well done. Do you do your faces with oils or acrylics? -Len

the red is the red primer base, used as a color of the camo.
For a short period, at the end of 1944, red oxide primer was integrated in the camo schemes, and dunkkelgeb was no longer used to cover all the tank. At the beginning of 1945, dark green started to be used as base color, covering entirely the red primer. However, according to several sources, red primer was used also as a component of hard edge factory camo applied in late 1944 /early 1945

Hope you submit it to a photo feature.
Never in the field of scale modelling was so much owed by so many to so few.

I think he was asking what brand the paint you used was, and the name or item number so he could order some.

It is a mix of Tamiya Red Hull and Tamiya Flat Red, with some cream yellow for parts highlighted.
