After few months break I decided to start quick motivational project. As Tamiya recently released their new jagdpanzer lang I decided to give that a shot, and also to make things bit more interesting I decided to build this one short-tracked vehicle with drive wheel removed.

Here's a but, I can't find any decent pics how axle should look when drive wheel is removed. I've seen some photos with whole gear casing removed but that's not what I'm looking for. So if anyone has picture(s) they would greatly appreciated.

The only pic I could find was this,it has the drive wheel and outer casing removed.I know its a Panzer IV but they share the same chassis.

I've seen that too. I'm looking for picture with outer casing still in place, so no cigar. Thanks though.

I'm faced with the same dilemma for short tracking two Centurions during the Six Day War. Somewhere I have a photo of a Bradley exposed hub I'm still looking for. Since the setup is the same, it should be very close. The other option is to just remove the whole assembly from the tank:
