So I purchased a few tubes of AK interactive true metal paint tubes. They say waxed paints, can be rubbed or brushed on you can also use our thinners for Air Brushing and light Coating. ...very ambiguous..how do these paints get thinned?

Hi Javier,
either White Spirits or Turpentine, both work. This may be of some help, Experimenting with AK's True Metal Paints
cheers

Be carefull sometimes turpentine or white spirits can hurt the plastic . Test first before using .

I used the AK interactive Spirit to thing this down...I give the spray about a C+. It just dosn't spray nicely and clogs up, I found myself adding more and more spirit directly into the airbrush spray cup and using a q tip to mix it up just so would stop clogging up. Still way better than brushing it on though.

Paint was coming out my AB oddly. So I dissembled my AB and the true metal clung onto my needle and coated with the waxy paint. Its a great paint, but I think their claims of being easy to air brush are far fetched. But the nice metallic look makes the annoyance almost bearable.
