Takom has let Armorama know about two new kits in the making from them. The first of these is a 12.8cm Flak 40 Zwilling followed closely by a Turtle?

Love the 128 Flak Zwilling! Too bad I didn't do a few walkarounds at APG when they lived there. Now as soon as Farina Enterprises does a flak tower turret section for it, I'm there.

And the Turtle! The "VW Beetle" of armored cars. I've wanted one of these Czech cars for years, but the resin one was too expensive. Thanks Takom!

Say what you like about the quality of Takom's parts/builds, but certainly not unoriginal.

I found the
Skoda 30.5cm siege mortar went together very well (with one noted exception).

You just have to smile -- the Flakzwilling following the announced Tamiya Panther D -- and seeing the many new SOMUA S-35 builds going on -- if you're into WW2 subjects, your head's gonna explode! What an amazing time we live in!

Omg a 12.8cm Flak 40..and a twin. My grandad was a ball turret gunner on a B-17G(846th BG, 834th BS). Anyways, before he passed he told me everything including his ability to distinguish between "88's and 105's" in the air and "A bigger B*&%#!D in Berlin" I knew it had to be this.

Should be interesting to see how their Turtle will compare with the one Hobbyboss have announced.

That Turtle is flat-out cool!! With a few tweaks & mods, you could fit that into a post-apocalyptic scene with those Stalker figures.
Even my pick-up is panzer grey.
