Hi all!
I always want to build a gun truck, and I will soon built a M35 with a quad .50 on the truck bed.
So, the real challenge for guntrucks fans are the M54 trucks, and the alternatives are: To convert using the M995 with an also converted M35 cab.
My sugestion is:
Please guys, why donīt you make an article on how to make this convertion, I really apreciate a step by step article on this, and I think others will also apreciate it...
So, ANIMAL and GUNTRUCK (Jim Lewis) letīs move! Give us this pleasure, please!!!!!!!!1

I want to do the conversion article. We have discussed this in the past. I have the photos of the conversion process for the M-34 conversion (Revell) as well as the M-35 conversion (AFV Club).I wrote up the narrative and I had submitted it to the site but I have never heard anything back on it. I am getting in touch with Matt and want to send him all the material to see if he can get it set up in a format with the photos as a how to article. I still want to post it here on Armorama. I am not worried about the issue of it getting stolen by anybody. If one of the big companies want to use it to make a kit for all to enjoy so be it. I know I was able to build them. Also one of our newer members Sherman 2 is the best resin casters on the face of this earth as far as I am concerned. I have used some of his castings for some of my projects in the past and I hope that I will be able to use more in the future. He is a very quiet man and very humble about his talent. I only bring this up because we all could learn a lot about this facet of our hobby. There I challenge all of us that like to build the five tons to get a forum going and work together to get this article out for all here to use. I am a builder and a lousy computer whiz. I will send the info to whoever can put it in a logical order for all to understand. Gunnie has helped me a lot but we have in the past over tasked him and Jim and a few others with doing so much. I need an admistrator and orginizer and I will supply the material.

Geeee....can this finally be happening? I just wish I was more computer 'savvy', other wise I'd have done it for you long ago! Glad to hear it's maybe going to become a reality.

Tread.

Paulo - disregard my e-mail from last night. I read this thread and noted that Dave already has placed the images he wants to use in his article here on Site. That helps out a lot!

I'm working to complete your upload - and I'm taking time away from other projects to do this today - to get this information published. It does take a little time! Please be patient, I am working on it now.

Once this is done - it might be my last hurrah...

Dave/Paulo - I'm almost done and ready to see what the Article looks like. One thing I noticed Dave, there is no description of modifying the Frame/Chassis. Is this missing, or did you want to leave that out?

Okay - in a minute or two. Dave - we can go back into it if you see something you want to add or change. I'm publishing it as a Build Tips Article right now. I also added a small section into the Chassis/Frame page.

Thanks Gunnie

I think there's room to expand on it - there in the article, or to branch out and add more conversion subjects like the Deuces and Gun Jeeps. A lot of potential there...
