With google an patience you might find some in small hobby shops.
I was lucky to find a brand new one, at the original price in http://kustommodels.com.
Guy speaks english and could pay vis PayPal.

Hi

Well something you should bear in mind, although this is a fine publication, it was compiled several years ago, using the kits available at that time. Since then we have had several new ones produced and as such the relevance to available kits might not be as great as it was when first published.

I got mine from chapters in the great white north I thnk....or maybe from small soldiers, but they're no longer in business. But as was mentioned above, it's a bit archaic now, what with all the newer, more accurate versions of Dragon kits on the market. I still flip through the book now and then as the details and examples are well documented, but I could do the same with Steve Davies build here on site, or Mr Brydon's website etc...

Good luck, whichever way you go...

As an alternative, which I believe to be stil the definitive work, may I suggest the Jentz & Doyle book 'Germany's Tiger tank: DW to Tiger I'. While not a modelling book (so it doesn't go out of date when new kits are released) it is all derived from primary sources and the outcome of decades of research. A cheaper option is the same authors' Osprey Vangard title on the Tiger I, although the format limits the content compared to the larger one. The larger one is on Amazon (for example) at under USD47 with free shipping. It's always the first one I check for Tiger I queries, although I also have the AP one.

That Steve Davies never finishes his build logs !

True you might consider it out of date, but it's still a good source for learning technique.

Agree. One article I like is the Tiger I prototype built from the Tamiya Afrika kit. Me building one is another story though...
