There has been info from the Japanese modelling magazines that some Japanese engineers who had contributed to the earlier "decent" Dragon kits and the Smart Kit series left the company in 2013. Not sure where they've gone to, but this might give some clue to the recent disasters from Dragon.

Er, so? It's not 10 or 20 years ago anymore. The times and attitudes have changed.
So . . . there are still people that complain or comment. (I'll bet you can easily find recent posts where people expressed a desire for DS tracks.) There are shades of complaint and praise with all sorts of conditions and provisos. Which voices among this wide scattering should they listen to? (And that applies to any subject.)

In some respects the old Roman adage Caveat Emptor still holds true. Dragon used to have the Veni Vidi Vici mentality. Not any more. I quit buying Dragon kits as the detail declined and the errors increased.
